How is a security camera system installed?
A proper camera system starts not with the number of cameras but with where they will look. AHD or IP?
- AHD camera systems: Work over a coaxial cable infrastructure; preferred when renewing an existing analog infrastructure and in budget-focused projects.
- IP camera systems: Work over the network; stand out in projects that need high resolution, flexible expansion and advanced features.

Recording, storage and mobile monitoring
Cameras are connected to a recorder (DVR/NVR); how many days of recordings are kept is planned according to disk capacity. After installation you can watch the footage live from your phone and access past recordings.
